The centre had a new, socially orientated approach to the young drug user away from the traditional hospital medical model, and as an alternative to methadone. The centre provided alternatives to a drug-orientated life style through a programme which emphasized an active engagement and commitment to living without drugs. An evaluation of the centre provided some thoughts and guidelines for the future. |
