Contents: Observation of a cavitation cloud was performed using an off-axis laser holography system. The cavitation cloud contains an inverse U-shaped vortex cavitation surrounded by many small cavitation bubbles. The density of bubbles with radius larger than 35 µm is on the order of 10³ bubbles/cm³. The bubble number distribution was determined from the observation and by counting individual bubbles in reconstructed holographic images of the cavitation cloud.
