A generalized form of Covert and Philip's EOQ model with Weibull distribution deterioration is developed. Specifically, the 3-parameter Weibull distribution is used to represent the time to deterioration. It is shown that this model can be related to the previously developed simpler models. The solutions to two numerical examples are compared to Covert and Philip's solution. |
