Resolutions of the theoretical and behavioral problems of network-based techniques such as PERT have been attempted through simulation and historical estimating behavioral approaches. This study demonstrates an integration of these approaches into a single method of network analysis which requires significantly less restrictive assumptions than does PERT while producing “believable” assessments of project duration. |
