Size-segregated aerosols were collected during the study using a low-pressure impactor operating with ZnSe impaction plates. Transmission infrared spectra of the size-segregated aerosols were used to determine the size distributions of ammonium, nitrate, and sulfate ions. In addition, the size distributions of aliphatic carbon and carbonyl groups were determined. |
