Densification of agricultural residues depends upon its physical properties and process variables. In order to understand the densification mechanism several researchers have attempted and proposed different models. In this paper the effect of moisture content and pressure on relaxed density of coir pith briquettes were studied. The relaxation is negligible at the pressure and moisture content of 258.14 bar, 18% respectively and the corresponding relaxed density is 716.48 kg/m3 |
