Inhoud: Due to the problems in the powder-crop caused by fly-give of sapotizeiro, it was aimed to evaluate the effect of hot water as thermal treatment in the control of immature phases of the C. capitata and quality of fruit. A sketching was used enterely casualized, with factorial of 2x5+1 (two temperatures, five times of exhibition and one witness) with four repetitions for treatment. To analyzes of results a regression logistics it was used, there was significant effect in the time of exhibition in two temperatures, and the treatment to hot water reached indexes of safety quarantine and they don't exercised influence in the quality of the sapoti fruit.
