The aim of this study was to evaluate patients with uterus sarcoma retrospectively. 9 patients with uterus sarcoma were evaluated at Department of Radiology and treated at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. These patients’ records were evaluated retrospectively. The mean age of the patients was 48.8 years (range, 43-64). The mean of the parity was 7.5 (range, 3-11). 5 patients were undergone total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy and in 4 patients cytoreductive surgery was done. 4 patients were died due to recurred tumors. recurrence in the uterus sarcoma would be in the early period. The main factors effecting prognosis are histopathological type of the tumor, the number of mitosis and the stage of the tumor. |
