This research was carried out in carpentries in the city of Brasilia DF (Brazil), aimingat evaluating the physical workload of the employees in different activities of the furniture industry.The physical workload was gotten in a survey of the cardiac frequency in the work. The activities hadbeen considered light, with exception of to rough-hew, that was considered heavy work. Thecalculation of the time of rest was not necessary because the maximum limit of 40% of the cardiac frequency was not exceeded. |
