Contents: In this paper a simple and rapid acid digestion method by microwave heating in highpressureTeflon-TFM bombs is reported for the determination of total iron and zinc content infodder yeasts, by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The analytical results wereagreed well, as confirmed by the statistical evaluation, with those obtained after conventionalwet digestion method. This procedure was applied to the determination of Fe and Zn in someRomanian fodder yeasts growth on n-paraffines, methanol and ethanol.
