Total stability constants of complex species formed by Th4+ ions with F- and H2PO4-ions where determined in microconcentration aqueous solutions. A method based onexperimental determination of the global repartition coefficients of 234Th4+ radionuclide betweenaqueous phases and a benzene solution of tributylphosphate (20% v/v) was applied. These globalcoefficients were determined either in the presence or the absence of anionic ligands in theaqueous solution at various concentrations. The stability constants were used to establish thechemical speciation, or the concentration for all the chemical forms existing in the studiedsystem in correlation with aqueous phase concentration of ligands. |
