The heteroaromatic compounds containing fragments with different donor-acceptorproperties have large applications in many fields in which charge separation represents arequired property. The present work is constituted in a spectral and electrochemical study of thebenzoyl derivatives of the phenoxathiine and dibenzo-para-dioxin. The reduction behaviour ofthe compounds was investigated using the cyclic voltametry and ESR technics. The experimentalresults were in agreement with the MO calculations. |
