The OCLC ICAS (Interactive Collection Analysis System) offers a means to effectively document the state of a foreign language collection as well as a means to systematically develop a collection for the future. Data were collected from the ICAS compact disc generated by OCLC/WLN from WorldCat holdings and information from the library's integrated library system (ILS). Data were used to review the collection with the faculty. Implications for acquisitions, weeding, and faculty involvement are discussed. |
