The movement of institutional residents to a community setting has become an important component of the rehabilitative process. Very little has been accomplished to develop techniques which would be germane to this effort. Data from an experimental and demonstration project designed to serve emotionally disturbed and mentally retarded adolescents are presented in an effort to describe a technique for this purpose. The technique, called Transitional Program Analysis, is depicted in one hypothetical and two case studies and implications for its use are discussed. |
