The Policy Information Exchange (PIE) on-line system (http://www.mimh.edu/mimhweb/pie/pie.asp) allows access to a database of full-text mental health policy reports via an easy to use Internet interface. Originally developed by the Mental Health Policy Resource Center as a subscription-based service, the Missouri Institute of Mental Health acquired and redesigned the system. This article describes the process used to revise the original system, a brief evaluation, and a discussion of the difficulties associated with maintaining such a complex Internet site. |
