This paper provides a framework that con be employed in the evaluation of interagency relationships and in the subsequent reorganization of service delivery systems. An understanding of services integration as an interorganizational relationship mechanism, as well as the ability to apply this knowledge to interagency relationships, is viewed as an essential administrative skill. The services integration framework is presented as well as a step-by-step analysis of its application to human services delivery systems. The paper concludes with a set of inter organizational planning principles that can be employed as tentative guidelines for those involved in the design and administration of such systems. |
