A user-friendly BASIC computer code is presented for a one-dimensional mathematical model of contaminant transport in a porous medium employing linear/ reversible. equilibrium partitioning for the adsorption/desorption mechanism and a first-order degradation kinetic mechanism. The model predicts the transient response of changable contaminant step function inputs to a flow-through/ porous-medium system. |
