Contents: Data from the daily analysis of environmental samples using x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy are presented, covering a period of seven months in 1974. Simultaneous data from two sites, one on the main A38 highway in southwest Birmingham, England and the other (control) 350m. north at the Department of Physics of the University of Birmingham are analysed in detail and correlations between elemental concentrations at the two sites and between different elements at each side identified.
