The solubilization of two dyes was determined in microcmulsion stabilized by an ionic surfactant/pentanol combination The results demonstrate that dye solubilization depends on the structure of the dye. In one case the microcmulsion structure per se induced enhanced solubilization, while in another case the presence of a surfactant had a detrimental effect. |
