We consider the asymptotic behavior of a general class of systems of difference equations. It is shown that under some conditions the normalized class distribution globally asymptotically stabilizes in the first orthant. By using these conditions we obtain simple proofs of several results. Our theorem which provides a set of test conditions is also illustrated by some extensions of these known results. |
