A new eudesmane derivative named capitulatin B (1) along with 6α,15α-epoxy-1β,4β-dihydroxyeudesmane (2) has been isolated from the rhizomes of Curculigo capitulata. The structure of compound 1 was established as 4α,6α-epoxy-1β-hydroxy-4β-methyleudesmane, and the 13C NMR data of compound 2 was reassigned on the basis of the spectral data, including 1D and 2D NMR (HMQC, HMBC, COSY, ROESY). |
