The Hankel operator and its induced norms

Title: The Hankel operator and its induced norms
Author: Wilson, David A.
Appeared in: International journal of control
Paging: Volume 42 (1985) nr. 1 pages 65-70
Year: 1985-07-01
Contents: The Hankel operator of a linear stable time-invariant system is usually considered as a mapping of square integrable 'past' inputs into square integrable 'future' outputs, and as such has an induced norm which can be calculated from the controllability and observability gramains of the system. In this paper, the Hankel operator is considered as a mapping between some other spaces, and expressions are derived for its induced norm.
