A course, “Life after Death,” was taught in several educational programs for senior adults: Elderhostel; Senior Educational Outreach (Senior Citizen's Center); and noncredii, continuing education, University of Tennessee at Knoxville. The course's rationale, background, methodology, evaluation, and bibliography are outlined for the reader. Serious consideration and resolution of eschatological issues, questions, and beliefs are proposed as a part of the ego integrity process and as a developmental task of the later years. Death educators, educational gerontologists, and religion educators are encouraged to consider this topic and related concerns as a case in point for keeping an open mind to program topics for the senior adult's educational interests and needs.
