This paper deals with the mixed boundary value problem for a class of quasi-linear elliptic equations of second order in a multiply connected domain, where the directions of direct derivatives in the boundary condition may be tangent to a portion of the boundary, but are not tangent to another portion of the boundary. By using the extremum principle, the auxiliary function method, a priori estimates for solutions, and the Leray-Schauder theorem, we prove that the above boundary value problem has a unique solution. |
