Relationekips among the Rao-Robson, Dzhaparidze-Xikulin, and Pearson-Fisher chi-square goodness of fit statistics are estabiished. These statistics are also shown to be related to a atatistic which compares the msximum likelihood estimator baaed on the original observations with the maximum iikeirhood estimator based on the cell frequencies and a statistic proposed by Hauan. These relationahipa are used as a basis to underarand the performance of the atatistice and to suggest a new goodness of fit statiatic. |
