Visual inspection of the elements of the corner method determinantal arrays, as has been suggested in the literature, to tentatively identify the polynomial orders of the input variables parameters of multiple input transfer functions can be extremely misleading,, Ihis article provides a statistical test to ascertain the significance of element values. Application of the test proposed here can more accurately identify the nonzero element corner which determines the polynomial orders of the input parameters., Several examples from published and simulated data are presented to illustrate the value of the test. |
