The social and political aspects were considered for waste management alternatives evaluation in addition to technical and economic aspects. A questionnaire was developed and a panel of experts with different backgrounds were selected for engineering alternative evaluations. The pulp and paper industry was the sample problem for this study. The weighting and ranking scores from experts were discussed. Three multicriteria decision making methods were used to analyze the results from ihe panel of experts; average method,standard deviation method, and modified fuzzy logic method. The dominance method was used to analyze the ordering of preference of alternative. The results obtained from both standard deviation method and modified fuzzy logic method were highly agreement. |
