Leuctra queyrassiana sp. n., a member of the Leuctra hippopus group (L. prima subgroup), is described as male, female and nymph, and compared with the related L. autumnalis Aub. and L. caprai Festa. The new species is known only from brooks at high altitude between 2,200 and 2,700 m, and is probably endemic to the Queyras massif.
