Title: Some Relationships Between Dynamic Shop Operations and the Capacity Rating Methodology
Author: Wilhelm, W. E.

Contents: The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the static capacity rating (CR) index and dynamic (time dependent) shop operating characteristics. This paper describes three experiments which were conducted with a simulation model and designed to test the significance of the CR index as a predictor of dynamic shop operations. Results in the cases tested indicate that the index may be more sensitive to dynamic operations than are deterministic measures.
