Contents: This article describes measurement and norming problems with commonly used neuropsychological tests. Test standards regarding differential diagnoses, validity and reliability, the need for manuals, standardized administration, screening, and research versions are discussed. Further development of reliability, validity, sensitivity and specificity is needed for many tests.
