  “BPSA,” a specific molecular form of free prostate-specific antigen, is found predominantly in the transition zone of patients with nodular benign prostatic hyperplasia1 1 S. D. Mikolajczyk, T. J. Wang, H. G. Rittenhouse, R. L. Wolfert, and K. S. Slawin are co-inventors in a U.S. patent application filed for this new marker.
